Hey I’m Tom, the face behind Defender Pest Control here in Wirral. After spending a decade in the industry, I got tired of seeing people charged extortionate rates for basic pest control. So in 2019, I started my own company out of my garage with one simple idea – treat customers like neighbors, because that’s what they are.
My Land Rover Defender (hence the company name!) has become a familiar sight around Upton, where I’ve lived all my life. When I’m not crawling under floorboards or in attics sorting out pest problems, I’m probably walking Nellie, my daft but lovable Labrador, or trying to sneak in some quality time with my fiancée and little one.
What makes us different? We don’t do sales pitches or hidden charges. Just straightforward advice (sometimes that’s all you need), fair prices, and work that’s done properly the first time.
